Echoes of Lake Placid’s history are reimaged for the modern day through artist Janet Millstein’s unique mixed-media printmaking. In Imagined Reflections, Millstein captures former residents, landscapes, and locations from Lake Placid’s history and intersperses them into new original contexts. Shown side by side with the original historical photographs from the Lake Placid-North Elba Historical Society that inspired each work, this exhibit reflects our shared history in new and surprising ways.
